A x’mas gift from a colleague, who bought it from Tokyo.  She was telling me how people in Tokyo are so environmentally friendly and most women have their own handkerchiefs.  Inspired, she bought several as x’mas gifts for most of us.

How can i not support this green thought – very in line with one of my personal goals for this year (to be stepped up on green efforts).  Though I had to say that the handy was too lovely to use.  Instead of just admiring it, why not put it to good use and save our planet!  - my inner voice echoed.  I am starting to think of getting more handkerchiefs now since i started to use this.

Have you done your part for mother earth today?

I finally did my first jog after 3 months.  Yes i just pass 3 months post op.  Coco did better than me cos i didn’t wanna push myself too hard.  I did a 1km i think – yes only.  But am glad i finally gotten over all my fears to start running.

Sunday is good, I went for service then breakfast with family.  Time with family is priceless.  Smile on my dad’s face when he saw the fishes he want was priceless ( we bought him to fish farm for fishy spree ;p )

Am slowly re-taking up yoga at my own pace.  Looking forward to a more fulfilling 2010.

Too many things, happening all at one time…

I just read my last year’s entry.  i was looking forward to new challenges and was planning for exercise and detoxification…

Indeed life many new challenges were thrown at me this year.  maybe for next year i will just wish for plain, boring, smooth sailing year <keke> as for exercise regime, tis is a life long commitment, i supposed sustainability is the key word here.

I wanna start next year recuperating from my health matters.  I will work on yoga from the second quarter – specifically in april.

when sharing that i need to complete many unaccomplished tasks, my soul mate told me to “pursue what u need to pursue” – i am not sure… cos i didn’t accomplish much this year. but i didn’t wanna accomplish my tasks at the expense of friendship…mmm…looks like i have to look for ways to balance my life.

i was a tipsy topsy 2009, many exciting heart warming episodes despite nothing achieved.  But i am definitely more-enriched and loved.

I went thru health matters, accommodation matters, career matters…almost tasted all life big packages all at a time.  Sometimes I wonder why my life is always so hectic, so tightly-packed.  The more i pursue a paced-out lifestyle, the more challenges are thrown at me. 

My early new year wish is a stable yet colourful life ahead

Am travelling tmr.  As usual am not looking forward to it as i hate packing and preparing for trips.  i hate waking up in wee hours, i don’t like flying.  But am confident that i will enjoy as usual during the trip.  This time I am bringing dad’s camera.  H&M here i come ;p

Was deciding between functional and understated Bottega Veneta and elegant Chanel for my birthday and wedding anniversary gift.  Finally laid hands on Veneta, since i am now big for understated style.  The colour?  Definitely, lilac.

Coco was not coco (in appearance) when we picked her up.  It definitely does not look good.  But to me it does not matter, she is still my coco.  We even bought a dress to put it on for her in case she feels uncomfortable with stares.  She behaves weirdly since returning home; refusing to lie down, refusing to sleep just kept pacing up and down; if not stand and stare into blank space.  We are so so worried.  She had ear infection too and we will have to bring her to the vet.  I had to give her a towel to encourage her to lie down.  It is only now that she finally lies on the towel to catch some sleep.

I completely understand how she feels, i will walk this period of difficult time with her.  Looking forward to 3 months later.

we certainly miss coco…while there is an element of fear where she may be spoilt beyond control.  Turns out at day 1 that she still remembers all the house rules and is behaving thus far.  phew…

her hair is messy but certainly looks cute now.  grooming is scheduled today cos the thick coat was not cut for months and are in knots now.  probably have to shave and start anew.  poor coco…
